CE & ISO Container House Certifications: Buyer Checklist: practical buyer notes
Fast selection matrix
Certification document checklist
| Document scope | CE, ISO and factory quality documents should be confirmed by product model, destination market and final configuration |
|---|---|
| Model-specific review | Expandable, foldable, detachable, Apple Cabin and Space Capsule products may need different document sets |
| Local compliance | Local building code, permit, fire, wind, snow and utility approvals are normally checked by the buyer and local professionals |
| QC evidence | Ask for frame, panel, roof, window, door, waterproofing, electrical, packing and loading photos before shipment |
| Quote preparation | Send country, use case, quantity, layout, climate, required standards and destination port before requesting documents |
What CE and ISO can help prove
Certification and quality documents help buyers review supplier capability and product scope, but they should be checked against the exact product model and destination-market requirement.
- Ask which documents apply to the quoted model and configuration
- Confirm whether documents cover the factory system, material, component or finished unit
- Keep document files together with drawings, packing list and invoice for project records
What certification documents cannot replace
Factory documents do not automatically replace local building approval, site engineering, permit review or utility connection approval.
- Review local fire, wind, snow, foundation, electrical and plumbing requirements before ordering
- Use local engineers or permit consultants when the project is permanent or guest-facing
- Treat any online certificate claim as preliminary until the supplier confirms model scope
Quality control workflow
A practical QC request should cover visible production evidence and shipment evidence, not only a certificate file.
- Frame welding or assembly, anti-rust treatment, wall panels, roof, floor and waterproofing
- Doors, windows, bathroom, electrical scope, HVAC openings and interior finish when included
- Packing photos, accessory list, spare parts, loading sequence and container number records
How to brief the factory
The factory can answer certification and QC questions faster when the buyer sends a complete project brief at the beginning.
- Country, destination port, product model, quantity and use scenario
- Required standards, local code concerns, climate, installation plan and site type
- Requested document list, inspection preference and timing before shipment
